On the rare occasions that I do use plated findings, I always tell the customer how it will wear. Some don't care because they don't want to pay for better findings.<br /><br />So far, I've been buying my sterling and gold-filled findings mostly at small bead shops when I travel. Michaels now carries a line of sterling findings, which I'll buy with a 40% off coupon when I can.
